The Three Little Pigs

This retelling of “The Three Little Pigs” is a moral story for kids, focusing on the virtues of hard work and planning. The tale contrasts the outcomes of the pigs’ different approaches to building their houses, highlighting how diligence and forethought lead to safety and success.

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who set out to build their own houses. The first pig, eager to play, quickly built a house of straw. The second pig, wanting to relax, constructed a house of sticks. But the third pig, who believed in hard work, built a sturdy house of bricks.

One day, a big bad wolf came to the first pig’s straw house and blew it down easily. The frightened pig ran to the second pig’s stick house. The wolf followed and blew that house down too. The two pigs then ran to the third pig’s brick house.

The wolf tried to blow the brick house down, but it was too strong. He tried to enter through the chimney, but the clever pigs had a pot of boiling water waiting. The wolf fell into it and ran away, never to bother them again.

“The Three Little Pigs” teaches us the importance of hard work and planning. While the first two pigs chose the easy way, their houses couldn’t withstand challenges. The third pig’s effort to build a strong house protected them all. It’s a story that encourages children to invest time and effort into doing things right.
